The True Story of Captain Sam
Chef Nader’s Uncle Sam (seriously… Uncle Sam) grew up where fishing was a way for survival, a way of life. Another way of life was enjoying good food with your family and friends. Taking advice from his Uncle, Chef Nader learned that the way you cook fish is just as important as how you catch it, that breading the fish with the right amount of seasonings and making sure you get your oil heated just right, will turn out the best mouth-watering flaky fish you have ever tasted!
Chef Nader’s desire for fresh food (along with his Uncle Sam’s secret ingredients) inspire all the great flavors found in Nader’s seafood today.

Over 25 years ago a mother and son team, Virginia & Nader Hagez, were the first to introduce authentic Mediterranean flavors to the festival circuit.
